Chocolate Tart

In preparation for this weekend's Blackout supper, we decided to perfect our recipe for dark chocolate tart.

With a base of chocolate shortbread crust, rich truffle-like filling and a glossy ganache, it's probably of no surprise that some serious calories were consumed in the process, but gosh, it's a tasty slice!

We can't wait to serve it at this weekend's dark food/pre-Halloween themed event, along with scallops and black pudding, gamey venison and blackberries, and aubergine tatin - Blackout dishes that should hopefully be a knockout!
