Five-A-Day

This jazzy little starter was served up this week - an ode to vegetables. 

It came to fruition after walking up to the greengrocers in Marchmont (with only the intention of perusing) and coming home with a colourful array of lovely fresh veg.

The dish includes steamed cauliflower, pickled beetroot, courgette ribbons, feta and walnuts, and when magnified I think it looks slightly like a psychedelic ordinance map (just me?!). Definitely a successful way to eat your five-a-day.
